Congenial places, warm rooms, comfort, cleanness, good service and a rich cuisine, familiar tradition from generations, come together for making your stay a memorable souvenir. The architects who designed the house made a wonderful job by encountering it with windows and galleries that allow a dazzling nature emerge from every single place: flowers, birds, insects and an always changing sky invite you to rest and tranquility. Two rooms looking north share an spacious bathroom and the spectacular view over the Pichincha Volcano and the Valley of Los Chillos, on this same aisle of the house is the Salon Pléyades with its piano and well furnished library, the video room & library and the veranda that allow us to contemplate the unique landscape surrounding the hacienda. Four suites impregnated with the unique character of the property are around the house enjoying the view of the gardens, the fountain and the spring water basin. The Salon Ecuador was the styled living and dining room of the hacienda, here the candlelight dinners are served with the cooing of the crepitating log fire. The Salon San Francisco, ancient chapel of the hacienda still preserves the altar of the patroness saint of the property and it is the frame for a cozy bar and a dining room where breakfast and lunch are adorned with the view of the fountain and colourful gardens. The stone basements of the house keep a Printing Press Museum where we will learn about the star of the printed matter in the country. Just in the heart of the kitchen there is still the oven that allowed nourishing not only on ideas, but also on bread the dream makers that have made part of the hacienda. Your hosts: Enrique, an artist born, draw, painting and sculpture lover and Giovanna a culture and decoration amateur, both have impregnate every single place with beautiful art pieces from different times: oils, waters-colours, sculptures, materials, furniture and divers objects collected in the numerous trips around the country. Their hospitality and sympathy will make you feel as part of the “San Francisco’s family”. |
